Hotel Information

The La Cantera Resort & Spa –– A limited number of rooms are reserved at The La Cantera Resort & Spa at the special group rate of $235 per night plus taxes for a single/double. Reservations will be accepted until the reservation deadline of January 30, 2022 OR until the room block is exhausted, whichever comes first. (NOTE: Historically the room block for this conference has filled well before the reservation deadline, so we recommend you make your reservations ASAP if you plan to attend. Once the room block is exhausted rooms will only be provided on a space and rate available basis.) General Information

Pre-Registration — To ensure sufficient materials are available for all attendees, pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Late registration is subject to additional fees.

Materials Options —  Your registration includes either the printed 3-ring binder or the USB drive version of the conference materials. If you wish to receive both versions you may purchase both for an extra fee. Audio CD recordings of the major sessions will be available after the event and are available for pre-purchase.

Registration Options — Secure online registration is open below. You may also register (at the listed brochure rates) by mail or fax using the printed registration form in the official brochure, or by calling (512) 451-6960. Phone-in, fax and online registrations require an AMERICAN EXPRESS, DISCOVER, VISA or MASTERCARD number, expiration date, security code and billing address with zip code.

Government/Student Rates — Individuals employed by a government agency are eligible for a 50% discount on the member or non-member registration rate only. Lunch tickets, dues, raffle tickets and additional materials purchases are not discounted. (NOTE: Government and student rates can only be applied to registrations submitted using the printed registration form in the brochure and are not available online or during the discounted online-only registration period.) Students – please call (512) 451-6960 for student discount information before submitting your printed registration form and a copy of your current student ID.

Folds of Honor Foundation (FOH) Raffle Tickets — We are proud to partner with FOH to offer raffle tickets for your chance to win great prizes during the conference. All raffle proceeds benefit FOH and their mission to provide scholarship assistance to the spouses and children of soldiers killed or wounded in service to our country. You may pre-purchase these raffle tickets with your online registration or by using the printed registration form.

Cancellations and Refunds — Refunds, less a $50 processing fee, will be given to registrants who cancel by 5:00 p.m. Central on the Friday preceding the conference. No refunds will be granted thereafter. Course materials and audio CDs will automatically be mailed to prepaid registrants who did not receive a refund and were not able to attend.

MCLE Information

Earn up to 12.50 Hours MCLE credit including 4.00 Hours Ethics!

This course is pending approval for 12.50 hours credit (including 4.00 hour of ethics credit) which if approved will apply towards MCLE, the College of the State Bar of Texas, and the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Construction Law, Civil Trial Law and Real Estate Law.

To obtain full MCLE credit, you must attend all sessions, including the luncheons. If you need CLE credit in a state other than Texas, please let us know at registration. CPAs may obtain 15.00 hours of CPE credit toward licensing with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. Sponsor No. 6867

The Texas Institute of CLE is an accredited sponsor with the Texas Department of Insurance. This course is pending approval for General credit (all license types).

The organizers of this conference believe there are approximately 12.50 hours of continuing education credit for architects potentially available over the two-day course. Members of the American Institute of Architects should self-report continuing education to AIA at http://www.aia.org. For reporting to the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners, see http://www.tbae.state.tx.us/Registrants/ContinuingEducation.shtml. This course is also eligible for MCE credit through the Texas Real Estate Commission.
