About the Webinar: COVID-19’s toll is serious, systemic and wide ranging. Its toll is indiscriminate. Participants in the construction process now face risks, problems and challenges exceedingly difficult to anticipate, plan for and factor into a project’s risk profile. Solutions are nuanced and ad hoc, operative agreements, often, do not provide answers to these difficulties and, many participants find themselves in uncharted water. This webinar will identify several of these key risks, problems and challenges. It will also pose checklists with suggested proactive steps, responses and actions to mitigate potential losses. (Eligible for 1.25 hour MCLE credit.)

How the Webinar Works – Our webinar portal uses your computer as a device to receive the seminar live in your office, home or any other location you choose. Registrants will receive an email the week of the event providing access instructions for the live webinar, including the special log-in link and a personal passcode (PIN#). Click the access link at the appropriate start time, enter your PIN# and you will be patched into the webinar portal.
Q&A – During the program, the audio will be streaming on your computer in “listen only” mode and you will be able to view the speaker’s slides (as applicable). You will have the opportunity to ask questions live using the Q&A function either during or at the conclusion of the seminar.
Course Materials – A PDF or link to the course materials will be sent to primary and additional listeners via email just prior to the seminar if additional written materials are provided. Presentation slide copies are provided during/after the webinar.
MCLE – Earn up to 1.25 hour MCLE credit (0 ethics) in the State of Texas. Registrants will be sent instructions for filing their attendance credit the week of the webinar.
Registration Fees – The registration fee is $95 per site connection. (Construction Law Section members receive a discounted $75 rate.) A site connection allows one person to log-in to the program and claim CLE credit. If you choose to have additional viewers from your firm/company participate in the same room then a registration fee of $35 is charged for each additional viewer. Only registered participants/viewers may claim CLE credit. (PLEASE NOTE: The purchase of the webinar recording is eligible for MCLE credit but does NOT include access to the live event.)
Cancellations and Refunds: Refunds, less a $25 processing fee, will be given to registrants who cancel by 5:00 p.m. on the Friday preceding the webinar. No refunds will be granted thereafter. Course materials (if provided) and the webinar recording download/access link or video files will automatically be sent to prepaid registrants who were not able to attend.
